Optimize your Internet connection

  1. Ask that other household members not to use the Internet when you are using Google Meet
  2. Turn off all streaming services like music and TV shows
  3. Review Wi-Fi Problems

Optimize your camera

  1. If your Internet connection is very slow, then you should turn off your camera using the Camera icon
  2. If you still want to use your camera, then select the three dots in the bottom right corner of Google Meet (you might need to hover your cursor near the bottom of the window)
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select the Video tab
  5. Set the Send Resolution (maximum) to Standard Resolution

Optimize other people’s video

  4. Set the Receive Resolution to Standard Resolution, one video at a time or Audio only
