Your microphone is not working or people can’t hear you

1. Check to see if you are muted (red microphone with line through it) by clicking the microphone icon
2. Allow your Microphone to be used in Google Meet
3. Check your Microphone Settings
4. Remove the Google Grid View Extension and Manage Extensions
5. Read & Write (or other installed app or extension) may have disabled your microphone. You may be prompted to change your microphone settings.
6. Update your Chromebook
7. Reset your Chromebook
8. Use a phone to join the meeting
