Improve Google Meet Video Resolution
Following these steps will greatly improve the video quality for students in a Google Meet. These steps are especially important when using a document camera, running a demonstration, or using the chalkboard/whiteboard.
- Start or join a Google Meet
- Select the three dots in the bottom right
- Select Settings
- Select the Video tab
- Change Send Resolution to High Definition

These instructions work best if you are using paper under the document camera. These instructions would not be good for non-paper demonstrations.
- Plug in the document camera to a monitor or projector
- In the menu settings, turn ON High Contrast Mode
- Unplug the document camera from the monitor or projector
- Plug in the document camera to the Chromebook over USB
- Within Google Meet, select the three dots in the bottom right
- Select Settings
- Select the Video tab
- Under Camera, select the Document Camera
- Under Microphone, select the Internal Microphone and not the document camera
