Using the Dial In feature with a US Phone Number may show up on your phone bill. Instead, we recommend the steps listed below.

If you are experiencing slow Internet or other issues with Google Meets, try connecting to the meeting with a telephone. This option greatly improves audio quality if you have slower or inconsistent Internet access. You can still join the call with your video, but if the video slows down, you audio will not stop working.

  1. Click Join and use a phone for audio
  2. Enter your phone number with your area code (you don’t need the first “1”)
  3. Click Call Me and Join
