The iPad remembers when you sign in to Google Apps. Follow the steps below to remove your Google Account from the various Google Apps on the iPad. This is especially important if the iPad is shared between students.

Signing out of the Browser (Safari)

  1. Open Safari and go to google.ca
  2. If you are signed in, your avatar will show in the top right corner
  3. Tap on your avatar
  4. Tap on Sign Out
  5. Close the browser (Safari)
  6. Open the browser again and go to Google.ca
  7. Tap on Sign In
  8. If your name shows under Choose an account, click on Remove an account
  9. Click on the red circle behind your account and confirm that you want to remove the account by clicking on Yes, remove
  10. Clear your browsing history
    • Tap on the book icon in the top left corner
    • Under History, tap on the clock icon
    • At the bottom of the screen tap on Clear and select All Time

If you are signed in to multiple Google Apps on the iPad, all accounts will be signed out when you Remove your account from the device following the step-by-step instructions outlined below.
  1. Open the Google App you want to sign out from
  2. Tap on your avatar in the top right corner
  3. Select Manage accounts on this device
  4. Select Remove from this device and confirm by tapping Remove
