Step-by-Step

There are several ways to access your downloaded and saved files. You must be logged into your AVD Desktop (Session, Office 365 or Standard) for these methods to work:

Start Menu Method

  1. Right click on the Windows (start menu) symbol in the bottom left corner of your desktop.
  2. Select File Explorer from the list
  3. A new window will open and you will find your Download and Document folders listed.
  4. Click on the folder to view your files.

Search Method

  1. In the bottom left corner of your desktop type File Explorer in the search box.
  2. A new window will open and you will find your Download and Document folders listed.
  3. Click on the folders to view your files.

Desktop Icon Method

  1. On your AVD Desktop, click on the My Documents folder. A new window will open and you will find your Download and Document folders listed.
  2. Click on the folders to view your files.
Note: not all AVD accounts will have the My Documents folder on their desktop. Refer to the first two methods to access your files if you do not have the My Documents folder.
